Sign PDF with Signature Image

Place your own handwritten signature — a transparent PNG of your real signature — onto the first or last page of a PDF, sized and positioned where signatures belong.

About this tool

Where the typed signature stamp is too impersonal, this tool places your actual handwritten signature: give it a transparent PNG of your signature and it draws it at signature scale in the corner you choose, on the first or last page.

Like ink, it is a visible mark of intent — not a certified digital signature. The tool page is explicit about that, and about making the PNG (sign, photograph, remove the background) without leaving this site's toolset.

How to use Sign PDF with Signature Image

  1. Choose up to 20 PDF files (20 MB each).
  2. Choose the signature image file (a transparent PNG works best), the page and the corner.
  3. Download and open the signed copy to verify the placement before sending it.

Keep the original files and inspect the exported result before publishing or sharing it.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I get a signature PNG?

Sign on white paper, photograph it, and remove the background with the Localcraft background remover — or scan a signature directly to a transparent PNG. Any PNG or JPG works; JPG has no transparency, so its white box will show.

Is this a digital signature?

No. It places a picture of a signature, like ink on paper. It is not a cryptographic digital signature and carries no certificate — use a qualified e-signature service where the law requires one.

Can the image be removed?

It is drawn as page content, not a layer, but any PDF can be edited with enough effort. Treat it like a wet-ink signature: convenient proof of intent, not tamper-proofing.

Are encrypted PDFs supported?

No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs are rejected. Export an unlocked copy first.
