Add Blank Page to PDF
Insert one blank page at the start, at the end, or after any page of a PDF — sized to match its neighbours.
About this tool
Print layout has a quiet vocabulary of blank pages: a chapter that must start on a right-hand sheet, a notes page after a worksheet, a separator inside a merged production file. This tool inserts one blank page at the start, at the end, or after any page you name.
The blank copies the size of the page next to it, so it never introduces an odd sheet into a uniform document. Run it once per blank you need.
How to use Add Blank Page to PDF
- Choose up to 20 PDF files (20 MB each).
- Pick where the blank page goes.
- Download the updated PDFs.
Keep the original files and inspect the exported result before publishing or sharing it.
Frequently asked questions
What size is the blank page?
It copies the size of the neighbouring page, so mixed documents stay consistent.
Why add a blank page?
Print layout: starting a chapter on a right-hand page, adding a notes page, or separating sections in a merged file.
Can I add several blank pages?
Run the tool once per blank page, or merge with a blank document.
Are encrypted PDFs supported?
No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs are rejected. Export an unlocked copy first.
