PDF N-Up Printing

Combine several PDF pages onto each sheet — 2-up, 4-up or 9-up — for handouts and review prints.

About this tool

Handouts, review proofs and reading copies rarely need one page per sheet. This tool lays 2, 4 or 9 pages onto each sheet in reading order — the classic N-up layout — keeping the document’s own sheet size and preserving every page’s aspect ratio.

Pages are embedded as real PDF content rather than pictures, so text remains selectable in the output and print quality is unchanged. It is the cheapest page-count cut available: a 36-page deck becomes 9 sheets at 4-up.

How to use PDF N-Up Printing

  1. Choose up to 20 PDF files (20 MB each).
  2. Pick 2, 4 or 9 pages per sheet.
  3. Download the N-up PDFs and print or share them.

Keep the original files and inspect the exported result before publishing or sharing it.

Frequently asked questions

What sheet size is used?

Sheets keep the size of the document’s first page; each page is scaled to fit its grid cell with its aspect preserved.

In what order are pages placed?

Reading order: left to right, top to bottom, exactly like a printed handout.

Is text still selectable?

Yes — pages are embedded as real PDF pages, not rendered to images.

Are encrypted PDFs supported?

No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs are rejected. Export an unlocked copy first.
