Small tools. Finished work.
Private, browser-based tools for video, subtitles, product images and print artwork. Your files never leave your device.
Private tools for everyday files
Localcraft is a small set of free tools for the file chores that come up in video, e-commerce and print work. Every tool runs inside your browser: files are opened locally, processed with JavaScript or WebAssembly on your own device, and offered back as a download. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so there is no queue, no account and no watermark — and confidential client files stay confidential.
What you can do here
- Compress a video to a target size for Discord, email or WhatsApp, and download an MP4.
- Check SRT and WebVTT subtitles for invalid timestamps, overlaps, empty cues, long lines and reading speed, in batches of up to 20 files.
- Bulk resize product images to one size, pad them onto a white or transparent canvas, convert to WebP, JPEG or PNG and download a ZIP.
- Check image DPI for print: see the real pixels per inch at your print size, transparency and empty margins before you send artwork to a printer.
Why browser-based?
Uploading large videos or batches of images is slow, and many free online tools keep copies of what you send. Processing locally avoids both problems. The trade-off is that very large files depend on your device's memory, so each tool lists its limits on the page.
New tools are added regularly. Read the guides & FAQ or our privacy notes to learn more.
