Rotate PDF

Fix sideways or upside-down PDF pages: rotate every page, or only the ranges you pick, by 90, 180 or 270 degrees.

About this tool

Scanners and phone cameras regularly produce PDFs with sideways or upside-down pages. This tool fixes the orientation flag of every page — or only the page ranges you name — rotating by 90, 180 or 270 degrees so the document opens upright in any reader.

Rotation composes with whatever orientation a page already has and never re-renders content: text stays selectable, images keep their quality, and the file is simply re-saved with compressed streams. Encrypted PDFs are rejected; export an unlocked copy first.

How to use Rotate PDF

  1. Choose up to 20 PDF files (20 MB each).
  2. Pick the rotation and, optionally, the page ranges to rotate (blank = all pages).
  3. Download the corrected PDFs.

Keep the original files and inspect the exported result before publishing or sharing it.

Frequently asked questions

Does rotating change the content?

No. Rotation only changes each page’s display orientation — text, images and vector content are untouched, and an existing rotation is added to rather than replaced.

How do I rotate only some pages?

Enter ranges like 1-3, 5 in the pages box. Leave it blank to rotate the whole document.

A page is sideways because it was scanned — will this fix it?

Yes, that is exactly what this is for: pick 90 or 270 degrees for the scanned pages and they will display upright in every reader.

Are encrypted PDFs supported?

No. Encrypted or password-protected PDFs are rejected. Export an unlocked copy first.
