AI image analyzer

Upload an image and let AI describe it, extract text (OCR), or identify objects. Uses vision models from OpenAI, Claude or Gemini with your own key.

About this tool

Vision models can describe a photo, read the words inside it, or list what it contains, and this tool wraps those three modes around your own API key for OpenAI, Anthropic or Google: detailed description, OCR text extraction, and object and scene identification. Upload a JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF of up to 5 MB and pick the mode that fits.

Practical uses include drafting alt text for accessibility, pulling text out of screenshots, slides and receipts, and cataloguing images without opening each one. The image is sent only to the provider you selected, over HTTPS — Localcraft never sees or stores it. The 5 MB cap exists because vision APIs price by image size; resize very large photos first, for example with our image compressor.

How to use AI image analyzer

  1. Save your provider API key in the key panel.
  2. Upload an image (JPEG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 5 MB).
  3. Pick an analysis mode and run. The image goes only to the provider you chose.

Keep the original files and inspect the exported result before publishing or sharing it.
