Markdown ↔ HTML converter

Convert Markdown and HTML locally with a sanitized, isolated preview and downloadable output.

How to use this tool

  1. Choose the conversion direction and paste text or add a UTF-8 file up to 5 MB.
  2. Run to generate the output. The preview strips scripts, embeds, forms and remote media.
  3. Download the converted fragment. Review links and formatting before publishing.

Keep the original files and inspect the exported result before publishing or sharing it. Processing happens on this device; engine and library assets download when needed.

Frequently asked questions

Is pasted HTML executed?

No. HTML is sanitized before conversion or preview, and previews run in a sandbox without scripts. Remote media is removed to avoid fetching URLs from your document.

Will the document look identical?

No. Markdown does not represent arbitrary CSS, scripts, complex tables or page layouts. HTML to Markdown removes unsupported markup. Markdown to HTML exports a sanitized fragment, not a full website.

Which Markdown features are supported?

The parser supports common Markdown and GitHub-style tables and strikethrough. Images are removed for a local-only preview and export; links remain as text or safe links.
