About this tool
A focused editing assistant for text you have already written. Using your own API key, it applies one of six editing modes to your draft: improve clarity, expand with detail, shorten, switch between formal and casual tone, and fix grammar. The revised version comes back alongside your untouched original, so you can compare the two and keep only the changes you like.
Drafts are sent only to the AI provider you selected — OpenAI, Anthropic or Google — and nothing is stored by Localcraft; input is capped at 50,000 characters per request. Used well, it takes the mechanical passes off your plate (the tightening, the tone shift, the grammar sweep) while the judgment about what to say stays with you.
How to use AI writing assistant
- Add your API key once in the key panel.
- Paste your draft and pick an editing mode.
- Copy the improved version. Your words never touch our servers.
Keep the original files and inspect the exported result before publishing or sharing it.
