Create ZIP

Pack up to 50 files into a single ZIP archive in your browser. No upload, no account.

About this tool

ZIP is still the universal way to hand someone several files at once. This tool packs up to 50 files (50 MB each, 100 MB total) into one archive in your browser, with a choice between deflate compression for size and stored mode for speed.

Files that share a name are numbered inside the archive rather than overwritten, and the archive name is yours to set. Everything is assembled locally — the files never pass through a server.

How to use Create ZIP

  1. Choose up to 50 files (50 MB each, 100 MB in total).
  2. Name the archive and pick compression — smaller, or stored for speed.
  3. Create and download the ZIP.

Keep the original files and inspect the exported result before publishing or sharing it.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the compression options?

“Smaller (deflate)” compresses text and data files well; photos, videos and existing archives barely shrink. “Stored (faster)” skips compression and just packs — quickest, and the ZIP is about the size of its contents.

Files with the same name?

They are renamed inside the archive — a.txt becomes a (2).txt — so nothing is overwritten or lost.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The archive is built in this browser tab and downloads straight from your device.

Can I password-protect the ZIP?

Not here — this tool makes plain, universally compatible ZIP files. Any ZIP reader can open them.
