AI data analyst

Upload a CSV and ask questions in plain English. The file is parsed locally; the AI sees only a schema summary and sample rows.

About this tool

Exploring a CSV usually means opening a spreadsheet and building formulas. This tool offers a shortcut: the file (up to 5 MB) is parsed locally in your browser with PapaParse, and the AI provider behind your own key receives only a schema summary — column names, row counts, numeric hints and up to 50 sample rows — never the whole file.

You then ask plain-English questions about aggregations, rankings, comparisons and trends, such as which city has the highest average age. It is designed for quick orientation over a dataset you have just received, not for audited analysis: check any important number against the source data before acting on it. Very wide files, beyond roughly a hundred columns, may be truncated in the schema summary.

How to use AI data analyst

  1. Add your provider API key in the key panel.
  2. Upload a CSV (up to 5 MB). It is parsed in your browser — the file never leaves your device.
  3. Ask questions like "What is the average of column X?" Only a schema summary goes to the provider.

Keep the original files and inspect the exported result before publishing or sharing it.
