Sign PDF

Stamp a typed signature — your name in a signature-style italic face, with an optional date line — on the first or last page of a PDF.

About this tool

Approvals, acknowledgements and internal sign-offs often just need a name on the page. This tool stamps your typed name in a signature-style italic face above a signature line, on the first or last page, with the date underneath when you want it.

It is a visual signature — the digital equivalent of ink — not a cryptographic digital signature with a certificate behind it. For anything that must be legally verifiable, use a dedicated signing service. As always here, the document never leaves your browser.

How to use Sign PDF

  1. Choose up to 20 PDF files (20 MB each).
  2. Type the name to sign with and pick the page.
  3. Download the signed PDFs and verify them before sending.

Keep the original files and inspect the exported result before publishing or sharing it.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a legal digital signature?

No. This is a visual signature stamp, like signing a printed page. It is not a cryptographic (PKI) digital signature and carries no certificate.

Where does the signature go?

Bottom right of the chosen page, above a signature line, with the date underneath when enabled.

Can I draw my signature instead?

Not in this tool — it types the name in an italic serif face. For form fields, use Fill PDF Form.

Is my document uploaded?

No. Signing happens entirely in this browser tab.
