Merge PDF Files

Merge several PDFs into one file, in the order you choose, entirely in your browser. No upload, no page-count fees — just add your files, run, and download the combined PDF.

One PDF instead of five attachments

Applications, clients and offices all ask for the same thing: a single PDF. The PDF tool above merges up to 20 files — 20 MB each, 80 MB per batch, up to 500 output pages — into one document in the order you selected them. Add the files, leave the operation on Merge PDF files, run it and check the page count on the result before downloading.

What a merge keeps, and what it does not

The pages themselves are copied faithfully, with their sizes and content intact. The things that live outside pages do not travel reliably: bookmarks, interactive form fields, file attachments and document metadata can change or disappear, and a digital signature stops being valid the moment the document is rebuilt. Encrypted PDFs are refused outright. If your job is the opposite — pulling pages out — the same tool extracts page ranges, and its sibling pages here cover combining PDF files step by step and making a PDF from pictures with JPG to PDF.

Sensitive documents stay on your desk

Merging usually involves exactly the files you should not upload: contracts, ID scans, bank statements. Here the whole operation happens in your browser, so they never leave it.

Frequently asked questions

How many PDFs can I merge at once?

Up to 20 files per batch, each up to 20 MB, with an 80 MB combined limit and a maximum of 500 pages in the output. For bigger jobs, merge in stages and combine the results.

Does merging preserve bookmarks, forms and signatures?

Page content and page sizes are copied, but document-level features are not preserved reliably: bookmarks, form fields, attachments and metadata can change or be lost, and digital signatures become invalid once a file is edited. Review the merged PDF before sending it.

Can I merge an encrypted or password-protected PDF?

No. Encrypted PDFs are rejected even if you can view them. Export an unlocked copy first — only with the owner's permission — and merge that instead.

Can I change the order of pages while merging?

Files are combined in selection order, and every page of each file is included. To reorder or drop individual pages, use the Extract operation in the same tool, or split a file first and merge the pieces.

Are my documents uploaded to a server?

No. Merging runs locally in your browser with an on-device PDF engine. Contracts, scans and statements never leave your computer.
